Leanne Howard (she/her) writes tender, emotional romances between flawed characters who have as much to learn about themselves as they do about each other. After many moves both within and outside the U.S., she loves lush settings (or even fantastical ones) as well as family drama with a thread of affectionate humor sewn in. She earned her MFA from the University of Nevada, Reno, and her stories have been published in Haven Speculative, Typehouse Literary Magazine, Luna Station Quarterly, and others. When she’s not writing, she enjoys theater, long walks, and a hot cup of tea. She lives with her partner and an imaginary cat in Brooklyn, NY.
